Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this post war Smith & Wesson Model 586, built on the Smith & Wesson square butt N frame. This example, serial number AUN5422, manufactured in 1981, retains 98% finish nickel plated finish on the barrel, frame, and trigger guard, and vivid factory color can be seen on the hammer and trigger. The top strap and backstrap have ten grooves, a serrated ramped front sight, a micrometer click adjustable combat rear sight, and a pinned 4” barrel with a mirror bore.
