For your consideration, a Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum. J.P. Sauer's model 80 was marketed in the US through Colt, resulting in the eponymous Colt Sauer rifles. These are known for their smooth cycling, short bolt travel, and 60° throw angle due to their flapper locking bolt lugs at the rear of the bolt. Sighting consists of a 2-7 Leupold VARI-X ? scope. This example is of West German manufacture and dates to 1978. 7mm Remington Magnum
