Description:
A Remington Arms Company model 597 Magnum in very good overall condition. The finish is in very good overall shape, with some handling marks, some wear on the operating surfaces, a few light scratches and a few light scuffs. There is a some surface rust on the cross screws that are holding the bottom half of the scope rings to the Weaver style scope rail. The wood furniture is in very good condition, with some light scratching from storage and use and a few minor dings, but no major damage or cracking. The bore is in excellent condition, still bright and shiny with some slight residue leftover from use. .17 HMR
