Original Antique US Springfield Model 1873 45-70 Caliber Army rifle. The full 2 band dark walnut stock is in very good condition with normal dents and abrasions from use. All metal has a smooth blue brown patina. The lock functions fine. The breach block is tight and functions fine. The serial nut is 86648 making production in 1877. The rifle appears correct for the time period. The 32.5 " barrel has front and rear sights And a bright shiny bore with good rifling. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
