In very good condition, this Colt Detective revolver is chambered in .38 Special. Serial #C10587, dated to 1972. There is a little wear on the bluing on the right side of the barrel. The Colt Detective Special is an iconic, all-steel, short-barrel (snub-nose) double-action revolver produced from 1927 to the late 1990s, renowned as the premier concealed-carry gun for plainclothes detectives.
