Description:
Available for sale is this very nice Authentic Colt 1851 Navy .36 Revolver in Very Good Antique condition. This firearm was manufactured in 1861. The finish is mostly patina on this firearms and the metal is in very nice shape. Cylinder and hammer function perfectly and times very well. Bore and cylinders are rough. Some rifling is present, but no doubt this firearm in by gone times had seen a lot of use with black powder propellent and is very worn internally. Bore is dark with some pitting throughout. I'd still say this firearm is shootable, but would be better for display then to be fired. Numbers are matching between the frame and cylinder. Small hole apparent on one of the grip panels.
