Description:
The High Standard M1913-A1 CS (Compact Series), also known as the Crusader Compact, is an "Officer-sized" semi-automatic pistol built on the classic 1911 platform. Produced primarily in the mid-2000s, these pistols were manufactured by Armscor in the Philippines—the same maker as Rock Island Armory—and imported under the High Standard brand. While the short 3.5" barrel makes the pistol easier to carry, it does result in more significant "felt recoil" compared to larger 1911s. The all-steel construction helps manage this kick better than lighter polymer-framed subcompacts. The "CS" designation indicates a shortened grip and slide compared to the full-size Government model, making it a dedicated choice for concealed carry. .45 Auto
