Description:
The Gward is a Polish-made, double-action revolver chambered in .38 Special. Designed in the early 1990s by the Military University of Technology and manufactured by Wifama, it was intended to replace aging Soviet-style sidearms for the Polish police and Ministry of Internal Affairs. The 4-inch barrel variant is the "long barrel" version of the series. While highly functional, series production was limited and eventually halted in the late 1990s due to financial difficulties at the Wifama factory. The Gward is a rare find in the Western market today and is primarily of interest to collectors of Eastern European law enforcement history. .38 Special
