Description:
The Colt Frontier Scout '62 is a scaled-down version (roughly 7/8 scale) of the legendary Colt Single Action Army, specifically designed to meet the high demand for western-style rimfire revolvers in the 1960s. Introduced in 1962, the "'62" variant is distinguished from earlier Frontier Scouts by its use of a heavier alloy frame and unique aesthetic finishes. The Zamak Frame unlike the earlier "Q" and "F" series that used aluminum, the '62 used a Zamak (zinc-aluminum alloy) frame, which provided a more substantial feel in the hand.
