The Rock Island Armory (RIA) M1911-A1 CS (Compact Series) is an "Officer-sized" semi-automatic pistol built on the classic 1911 platform. It is designed for concealed carry, offering the power of the .45 ACP in a significantly smaller footprint than the standard Government model. The "CS" stands for Compact Size, featuring a shortened grip and slide. This reduces "printing" when carried concealed while still providing enough surface area for a solid hold. Built with a 4140 ordnance steel frame and slide, ensuring the ruggedness the 1911 is known for, even in a smaller package. .45 ACP
