Description:
Post-war Springfield M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield. Parts on this CMP M1 Garand might be mixed USGI manufactures and possibly a few new or refinished parts. This example has a 24" barrel and a blade front sight with protective sides, adjustable "DRC" aperture rear sight, SA bolt "D28287-12SA / S-A1", SA trigger group "D28290-14-SA", unmarked safety, SA "C46008-5 SA" hammer, milled trigger guard marked "C46025 W.R.A", and the op rod is marked "535382 HRA". The gas cylinder is a wide base with a high hump gas lock and a "O" marked gas cylinder lock screw for "Springfield". The new stock set is a smooth 3 piece pistol grip hardwood buttstock with the CMP cartouche on the bottom of the pistol grip. The barrel is stamped "SA F6535448 2 55 A218B". The receiver is stamped "US RIFLE - CAL .30M1 - SPRINGFIELD ARMORY - 5834262. No en block clips. .30-06 Springfield
