Description:
The Marlin Model 3000 was made specifically for vending through a California distributor, United Merchandising Corp. It is a Model 30AS/336 with a hardwood (birch) stock. This sample was made after the introduction of the cross-bolt safety was introduced. These rifles belong in the class known as "deer guns." Most deer hunting occurs at fairly close ranges and in fairly close brush, so carbines with fast cycling actions are often the best choices. .30-30 Winchester
