19 1/2" bbl including threaded 1/2" insert to receiver, full coverage engraved frost satin grey receiver rt. side 3 ducks being cased by setter all in a wooded scene, left side of pheseant flushed by pheseant surrounded by reeds & foliage, on top another setter has a rabbit in his mouth, all encases with fancy oak leaves & scroll, gold trigger, Select Belgium Grade 5 checkered walnut in skipline checkering, 22 lines per inch, no signature markings- (objective comparison of many engravers of this period indicates style of engraving by Louis Vrancken), 99% plus, as new, manual, provanance cased in small desirable takedown Hartman:
