However those marks and the scratch around the cylinder from rotating the cylinder with a loose side case screw takes a 98% to a 90% from excellent condition to "VG" or  "Good" it is still a gorgeous pistol and a bargain at $1800.00   some collectors like the proof marks, others don't .
