Description:
Iisted is a 100% authentic un-altered extremely rare, highly collectable weatherby rifle. This is 100% all done by weatherby in the early years. This is on a model 70 Winchester action, which weatherby had obtained a certain quantity of during his early years when making his rifles on whatever action he could get which at the time was mainly the FN Mauser action. This is a exhibition grade maple with a factory correct weatherby inlay and checkering pattern. This is oil finished which was an option at the time. It has a gold plated floor plate, it has a steel checkered butt plate, a 26" barrel. If you are familiar with these and have seen them in the Weatherby book, you'll be able to tell it's all original. The stamping on the receiver " Weatherby Custom" you can also make this out in the Weatherby book where they are showcasing Herb Klein's rifle in black and white photo. Any questions please ask.
