Description:
US Springfield Armory Model 1898 Krag chambered in .30-40 Krag. Used by American forces in the Spanish-American war alongside the Trap Door. It would be replaced by the M1903 and M1917 before the First World War. Known for its distinct side mounted fixed magazine that rounds are loaded individually and lose by hand. In overall fair to worn condition. Metal is together but very little finish remain if any. Wood has cracks and chips on the handguard and stock. Bore is well-used. .30-40 Krag
