"Serial no. FR8-10759. Manufactured in 1950 by Fábrica de Armas La Coruña, chambered in 7.62x51mm,19 ½"" round import-marked barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers on the bolt and receiver are matching. The stock shows expected handling impressions with an arsenal repair noted at the wrist. The FR8 was developed as a transitional training rifle for Spanish forces, combining Mauser 98-pattern actions with features resembling the CETME rifle. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly. The rifle is accompanied by a bayonet and scabbard.
