Description:
24 inch tapered round barrel chambered in 33 WCF caliber with a very good bright shiny bore with strong rifling. Sights include a ramped combination front and a W. F. Sheard marked rear with a Lyman receiver sight. Barrel and full length magazine tube retain most blue with some light scratches. Receiver has some blue remaining with the balance toning to a brown/gray. Hammer and lever have traces of case colors. Light blue on the loading gate. Take down frame. Real crisp functioning action. Walnut stock set is in good condition with some light wear and a checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Made in 1916. A decent Model 1886 rifle with a nice array of special sights that should make a fine shooter.
