Description:
This antique blasting cap box is from Ouray, Colorado and the mines in that area. It is over 100 years old. My late uncle used to work in those mines many years ago. The box is in reasonable shape for being so old.
The deminsions are as follows: 15 inches in Length, 95/8 inches High and 11 inches wide.
I do know this box was used in the mines of western Colorado around Ouray and that it held blasting caps sometime during the early 1930's.
