Description:
Available for a only a few years between 2013 and 2015, the Winchester Model 70 Ultimate Shadow was a modern-styled trim of the classic bolt-action hunting rifle which so many Winchester fans have loved for many years. The rifle was chambered in nine different calibers, including three short magnums, such as this .300 Winchester Short Magnum piece. The rifle features a lightweight synthetic stock with modern oval-shaped grip textures on the forend and pistol grip and unique contours molded into the main rear portion of the stock. A rubber buttpad helps cushion against recoil. The receiver and barrel are finished in a satin black and the receiver has a set of Weaver scope mounts attached. The bolt is jeweled for a super-slick action. The trigger is non-adjustable and the trigger shoe features a grooved texture for better stability when on the trigger. The fixed internal magazine on this rifle holds 3 rounds of .300 WSM. The barrel on this rifle is in good condition with no pitting or rust. The action is very smooth and easy to operate. The stock is undamaged and just shows light wear and scratches and the bolt also shows some surface wear in the finish. This Winchester Model 70 Ultimate Shadow does not include a case or box. .300 WSM
