The Remington Nylon 66 is a revolutionary semi-automatic rimfire rifle, famous for being one of the first mass-produced firearms to feature a structural synthetic stock. Produced between 1959 and 1989, it gained a legendary reputation for extreme reliability and its "self-lubricating" design that required little to no gun oil. DuPont "Zytel 101" nylon, marketed as waterproof and warp-proof.
