Description:
"Serial no. RB909. Manufactured circa early 1940s by Fabbrica Nazionale d'Armi Brescia, later converted by German forces to 7.92x57mm (8mm Mauser),18"" round import marked barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. The rear sight is marked “7.92," and the barrel is stamped “FNA-B," indicating production at Brescia. Both the receiver and bolt are marked with a large “S," a German-applied designation indicating the rifle was converted for use with the 7.92mm Spitzer cartridge. The stock shows honest handling and usage impressions consistent with wartime service. These converted Carcano carbines were pressed into German service late in WWII, with many issued to second-line units and Volkssturm forces during the final stages of the war. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
