A Very Early, Scarce & Desirable Second Model Colt 1851 Square-Back Percussion Navy Revolver In Nice untouched Condition. Serial #2485, all matching numbers. made in 1850. All original and complete. The revolver has nice metal, clear markings, & fine edges throughout. This includes the barrel address and frame markings. The cylinder scene is also clear with some light wear in a small area. All of the metal on the gun has an even & natural light patina throughout it. The brass back strap & square-back trigger guard all retain their original silver and are fine throughout. All screws are original and nice. The original grip are excellent throughout and retain their original wood finish on them. The revolver has a very tight and crisp action in it. The bore is very good throughout. This Is A Very Early, Scarce & Desirable Example Of A Rare Second Model Colt 1851 Square-Back Percussion Navy Revolver That Would Be A Wonderful Addition To And Fine Colt Or Civil War Collection!
