Description:
The Browning BSS is a 12-gauge side-by-side shotgun manufactured in Japan and built on a break-action design with a two-round capacity. It features 26-inch Special Steel barrels chambered for 3-inch shells and fitted with Modified and Improved Cylinder chokes. The barrels are joined by a solid rib and topped with a front bead sight. The shotgun measures approximately 43 inches in overall length and is configured with a checkered walnut pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm. A black hard rubber Kickeez recoil pad is installed, and the length of pull is 14½ inches.
This shotgun is used. The blued metal surfaces show handling marks and areas of finish fading consistent with prior use. The bores remain bright with strong definition. The break-action locks firmly and is equipped with working extractors. Serial number 5026A47 is present on the receiver, identifying it as a Japanese-manufactured example of the BSS line.
Included features consist of the factory 26-inch solid rib barrels with Modified and Improved Cylinder constrictions, checkered walnut furniture, and the installed Kickeez recoil pad. The shotgun retains its original configuration and components as described, with no additional accessories specified.
