Description:
The Russian M44 Mosin-Nagant Carbine is a compact, bolt-action military rifle introduced in the final years of World War II to address the needs of urban combat. It is primarily recognized for its integrated, side-folding cruciform bayonet and its significant "fireball" muzzle flash caused by the powerful 7.62x54R cartridge being fired from its shorter barrel. The M44 is a shortened variant of the legendary M91/30, designed for better maneuverability in close quarters. Built with a rugged arctic birch stock, finished with a heavy shellac coating for weather resistance. 7.62X54R
