Description:
Really a beautiful upgrade built on a No. 2 frame with 29-1/2" barrels that have matted concave top rib with twin white beads. Rib legend with "PARKER BROS MAKERS MERIDEN CT. USA. PEERLESS STEEL". Breech ends of brls with 2" floral scroll wedges. Polished flats with unstruck weight of 4lbs. 7oz. and "A1S" stamped. Near full coverage fleur-de-lis checkered splinter forend with fully engraved steel tip, Deeley latch release, and iron. Coin finished boxlock receiver has been spectacularly engraved and upgraded in full coverage scroll & floral engraving. Brl fences are sculpted in relief floral scroll. Blued long tang trigger guard is full coverage floral scroll engraved on bow and tang with gold inlaid SN at center. Gun made with gold plated double triggers, extractors, non-auto safety. Very nicely figured straight grain English grip walnut buttstock has checkered side panels, carved fleur-de-lis behind receiver, and is checkered in A1 Special grade pattern through the wrist, and terminates with a fully scroll engraved skeleton buttplate.
This gun remains in extremely fine custom finished conditon. Overall it retains nearly all custom finishes to wood and metal surfaces. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent, lock up is tight. This is a really eye catching custom Parker!
