Description:
The Smith & Wesson Model 617-6 is a double- and single-action revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It features a 4-inch stainless steel barrel, a stainless steel frame, and a 10-round cylinder. The revolver is configured with a stainless finish throughout and fitted with black rubber grips. The design follows Smith & Wesson’s K-frame pattern, providing a full-size frame suited to the .22 LR cartridge.
The revolver includes adjustable rear sights paired with a green fiber-optic front sight. The bore is described as very good, with strong rifling and a clean interior surface. This 617-6 is used, and its mechanical setup provides both double- and single-action operation. The frame and barrel are stainless steel, and the grips are molded rubber with a textured surface and S&W logo. The revolver’s serial number is CSD0534, corresponding to manufacture in 2011.
Included with the revolver are the original factory box and owner’s manual. The overall configuration reflects the later 617-6 variant, featuring a 10-shot cylinder and internal lock system typical of this production period. No additional accessories are listed beyond the box and book.
