Description:
Pre/Post War 4" Colt Official Police chambered in 38 Special with a factory original 'Dual-Tone" blue finish. This is a high condition revolver and a interesting "mix & match" of both Pre and Post War parts used during assembly in the summer of 1947. There are very few signs of handling or use. Overall the finish rates a strong 98%. The action is crisp, lock up is tight, and the bore is clean with strong lands and grooves. The factory checkered brown "Coltrock" plastic grips are excellent. A Colt Archive Letter is included which documents the shipment to Tucson, AZ. The original early Post-War box is in good condition for it's age with all corners intact, but please note it is serial numbered to another gun (#733207). Price includes free shipping CONUS.
