Description:
The Parker Bros 1893 12-gauge side-by-side shotgun is an antique double-barrel model configured for black powder paper shells rather than modern smokeless ammunition. It features 30-inch Damascus steel barrels fitted with a front bead sight. The chokes measure Improved Modified and Cylinder Bore. The receiver is engraved, and the gun carries the serial number 77514. Overall length is 46 inches, and the length of pull is 13¾ inches.
This shotgun is used. It retains its checkered wood pistol grip stock and matching forearm, both capped and fitted with the factory grooved butt plate. The action functions, and the bores are noted as dirty but capable of being cleaned. The Damascus pattern remains visible along the barrel set, consistent with Parker Bros production from the late 19th century. The firearm’s configuration and markings correspond to the 1893 manufacturing period.
Included components consist of the complete double-barrel assembly, engraved frame, and original wood furniture. No additional accessories or modern modifications are indicated. This antique Parker Bros shotgun represents a black powder configuration with its original 30-inch Damascus barrels and matching stock hardware intact.
