Description:
The Colt Lawman MK III is a double- and single-action revolver chambered in .357?Magnum, built with a six-shot steel frame and a 4-inch barrel. The revolver has a blued finish and was manufactured in 1978. It features fixed sights with a front ramp and rear frame groove, along with a heavy barrel profile. The trigger, cylinder release, and hammer are grooved, with the hammer displaying case coloring. The extractor is unshrouded, maintaining the MK III’s straightforward design.
This Lawman MK III is used. The bore condition is described as very good, showing clean rifling. The revolver retains most of its original blued finish, with visible holster wear and finish loss along edges. The cylinder locks and indexes correctly, showing a light drag line and a few small freckles of surface rust. The mechanical components, including the double- and single-action systems, are intact, and the overall frame and barrel surfaces exhibit moderate handling wear consistent with age and use.
Grip panels are brown checkered wood with Rampant Colt medallions, solid and free of cracks or breaks. The revolver’s serial number is L79049. No accessories or additional items are included beyond the revolver itself. The configuration represents a 1978 production Colt Lawman MK III with standard six-shot capacity, blued steel construction, and factory wood grips.
