COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER – 2ND GENERATION – 1958 FIRST YEAR .38 SPECIAL – 5½” BARREL
Price: $3,750
Offered is an attractive and early Second Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver manufactured in 1958, the first year of the reintroduced .38 Special chambering in the post-war SAA line. This revolver features the desirable 5½ inch barrel configuration with original blue and case hardened finish. Condition remains excellent overall, retaining approximately 98% original finish with vivid case colors, sharp markings, and excellent mechanical function. Bore is bright and clean. Action retains all four proper clicks and locks up correctly. Factory markings remain crisp, including the proper two-line Colt barrel address. Minor honest handling wear is present including a light cylinder drag line and slight muzzle wear consistent with careful use. The revolver is fitted with attractive custom walnut grips which complement the revolver nicely and give it excellent display appeal. Included is a vintage leather shoulder holster.
