The Marlin Model 1893 (later named the Model 93) was manufactured from 1893 to 1935 when it was replaced by the Model 36. The 93 was known for its "closed top" receiver, which offered better protection against debris compared to competitors. This rifle was likely manufactured in the 1920. .30-30 Winchester
