Ruger M77 Hawkeye African .375 Ruger. Serial 712-37505 has a 23-inch barrel (24.25 with brake, banded front sight assembly with white-beaded blade, banded sling swivel stud, scalloped island rear sight assembly with windage-adjustable express blade). Features include a polished blue finish, full-length claw extractor, three-position safety, steel floorplate (engraved, inside-the-bow release), and walnut stock (black forend tip, wrap checkering, double crossbolts, toe line stud and recoil pad. No box, papers, ring mounts or thread protector cap. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 8.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.5 inches. CONDITION: Likely unfired since factory proof and certainly never afield, the bore is pristine. Metal finish is at least 98 percent and wood is over 99 percent, each with but trace handling. The price is firm. $1,150 plus shipping. Proceeds benefit the Boone and Crockett Club.
