SMITH & WESSON MODEL 29-2 – .44 MAGNUM – 8 3/8" BARREL – BOX & PAPERS – LATE 1970s PRODUCTION This is a high-grade example of the legendary Smith & Wesson Model 29-2, chambered in the iconic .44 Magnum and configured with the desirable 8 3/8 inch barrel. Manufactured in the late 1970s (approx. 1978–1980 production period), this revolver comes from one of the most sought-after eras of S&W craftsmanship. The Model 29-2 is widely regarded as one of the finest revolvers Smith & Wesson ever produced, built before later design changes and known for its pinned barrel and recessed cylinder, features highly valued by collectors. The large N-frame design provides excellent balance, durability, and classic handling characteristics. This particular revolver is in exceptional condition, easily grading above excellent.
