The right side of the slide is marked:

The right side of the frame is marked “9272 PTO" and the left side is marked “Colt’s PT.F.A. Mfg. Co. / Hartford, Conn. U.S.A."
The grips are non-original. They are ivory color with black trim.
The bottom of the magazine is marked “Colt / .45 Auto".
Overall, this firearm is in very good condition. There are light scratches on the metal surfaces. The base of the rail near the muzzle has what appears to be a bit of a chip in the nickel finish. The high gloss of the nickel makes it hard to get the blemishes to show. They are slight, but worth noting.
