It features a 2-inch barrel and a seven-shot unfluted cylinder. The revolver retains its nickel finish on both barrel and frame, consistent with the manufacturing style of Hood Firearms during the late 19th century. Serial number 15783 is marked on the piece, identifying it as one of the small-frame pocket revolvers produced by the company between the early 1870s and late 1880s. The nickel finish on the barrel and frame shows dulling and light surface scratches, while the cylinder exhibits scattered areas of flaking. The bore condition is poor with visible corrosion. Plain walnut grips display light handling marks and finish wear consistent with age and use. The cylinder pin is broken, and a slot has been cut into it to allow removal. Mechanical operation of the action is functional, consistent with a single-action mechanism of this type. This revolver is used and classified as an antique. It retains its original configuration with the 2-inch barrel, nickel-plated frame, and wooden grips. No additional accessories or packaging are included. The Robin Hood No. 0 reflects the compact revolver design typical of its production era by Hood Firearms Co., which manufactured firearms from approximately the early 1870s through the late 1880s.
