Description:
The Smith & Wesson Model 10-8 is theheavy-barrel counterpart to the Model 10-7. Introduced in 1977 on the carbon-steel K-frame, this revolver features the heavy barrel design with a modern gas ring placement. The 4-inch heavy barrel adds weight to the front end, reducing felt recoil, and the thick walls of the barrel help reduce heating. Chambered in .38 Special, this revolver has a 6-round cylinder, has a traditional Double-Action / Single-Action, and is equipped with a fixed notch rear sight and 1/8-inch wide serrated ramp front blade. Overall, this revolver is in excellent condition. The metal surfaces look very good with minor wear, showing the age of the gun but have no major damage. The wood grips on either side of the handgrip are in excellent condition with no damage or wear/markings of any kind. This 10-8 looks and feels fantastic and is the perfect addition to any collectors or shooters collection, and is ready to find a new home.
