Description:
Winchester Model 1895 Saddle Ring Carbine chambered in rare .303 British. Very good condition for its age. Manufactured in 1923. The Winchester Model 1895 utilizes a built in box magazine rather than a traditional tubular mag. This design break-through allowed the rifle to safely chamber more powerful cartridges. This rifle has a good bore. The bluing is about 70%. The wood is in very nice and still retains most of its original finish and is not cracked.
