Factory Master Engraved Franz Sodia Dangerous Game Over/Under Double Rifle chambered in .470 Nitro Express. 1961 year of manufacture. 25-1/2 inch blued Bohler Antinit steel barrels featuring a full length matted flat solid rib with a blade front sight on the integral ramp base along with the raised rear portion which is fitted a fixed notch rear sight. Coin finished sideplated action extensive vine engraving on the bolsters as well as floral scrollwork surrounding three game scenes depicting a bull elephant and askari bulls on the left side, rhino on the underside, and a group of cape buffalo on the right side. Comes in a a wood and leather takedown case with a German claw mounted Hensoldt-Wetzlar Diasta-D 4x32 mm scope. Includes a factory test fire target dated 14 December 1961 along with factory photos of the engraving during manufacture. .470 Nitro Express
