The Mauser C96 is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.62x25 mm, built on a steel frame with a black finish and fitted with brown wooden grips. It features a 5-inch barrel and retains its original configuration typical of early C96 production. The design includes an adjustable rear military sight and an integral lanyard ring at the base of the grip. Proof marks with the Imperial German Crown U are present, consistent with period manufacture. The serial number is 362801.
This C96 is used and maintains a very good bore condition, showing clear rifling and shine. The pistol’s semi-automatic action is noted to be strong, with its mechanical components reflecting the original Mauser design. The overall appearance follows the classic pattern of the “Broomhandle” configuration, with the long barrel and distinctive grip shape. Finish and material details align with the standard steel construction and brown wood grips of the model.
Included with the pistol are its wooden shoulder stock/holster, a leather harness, and a cleaning rod.
