Manufactured in 2001 at the historic Colt “Blue Dome” Armory in Hartford, this specimen is chambered in the iconic .45 Colt and features a 7.5-inch barrel. USFA earned a legendary reputation for building the finest Colt-pattern revolvers of the modern era, and a factory Hand Engraved "Pre War" model with this barrel length is an exceptionally rare find with very few ever produced.
This masterpiece showcases USFA’s specialized "Armory A" coverage, a museum-quality Master Engraving pattern featuring intricate floral scrollwork over a fine punch-dot background. The revolver is finished in the proprietary Armory Bone Case Coloring and Armory Blue, set off by brilliant blued screws and appointments that provide a stunning visual contrast. The grip frame is fitted with premium Bastone Burled Walnut stocks that remain in pristine, smooth condition.
