Description:
This is a Turnbull Open Range single action revolver chambered in .45 Colt. Manufactured c. early 21st century. Features fixed blade front and top-strap notch rear sights, the two-line Turnbull Manufacturing Co. address marked on top of the barrel with the caliber designation on the left side, the two-line Colt patent dates marked on the left side of the frame followed with a circled Turnbull "Rampant Bull", flush gold inlaid bands on both ends of the barrel and rear of the cylinder, flush gold inlaid bordering along the sides of the bottom edges of the frame, along with floral scroll pattern engraving with around 25% coverage on the barrel, cylinder, frame, trigger guard, and grip frame. Matching "662" assembly numbers on the frame, trigger guard, grip strap, rear of the cylinder, and loading gate. Fitted with a one-piece conjoined ivory grip with matching "177" serial numbers written on the interior faces. Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish, case colors, and gold inlays with limited minor handling evidence, crisp markings and engraving, and sharp inlays. Mechanically excellent.
