Description:
Smith & Wesson Double Action First Model, chambered in .44 Russian. Features include: 6 shot fluted cylinder, 5 in. barrel, blue finish, "S&W" monogram checkered hard rubber grips. According to the factory letter, this pistol was manufactured in 1897. It also indicates that it was reblued in 1949 and the finish seems to very much indicate that. There's is a decent scratch mark on the right side of the frame behind the cylinder, along with a few more scratches on areas like the barrel and where it pivots open. .44 Russian
