Description:
Arrieta has long since been making quality shotguns, often patterned off of the London best. This beautiful pair of No. 587 game guns is an excellent example of such work. Fitted with a very fine set of figured walnut stocks and boasting SLE actions that are engraved with traditional rose and scroll engravings, these fine guns would be right at home next to their English peers. The overall condition of these guns is very good to excellent, with only some handling marks to show their use. Interestingly, it would appear that a previous owner had the stocks bent to better suit them, but they have since set back some. As such the cast of each gun is slightly different, with the No1 gun being slightly cast ON and the No2 slightly cast Off.
