Description:
The Browning Black Label 1911-380 is a unique "scaled-to-caliber" pistol that stands out by being an 85% scale replica of the classic .45 ACP 1911. Unlike most .380s which are tiny "pocket pistols," this model is large enough to offer a full-hand grip and a 4.25" barrel, making it exceptionally easy to shoot accurately. The slide is much easier to rack than those on sub-compact 9mm pistols, making it a popular choice for shooters with limited hand strength. It features an extended ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety, providing the familiar 1911 manual of arms in a package that is lighter and slimmer. Because it uses a locked-breech action (like a full-sized duty gun) rather than the "straight blowback" design typical of small .380s, the felt recoil is remarkably light. .380 ACP
