"Serial no. 6211463. Manufactured circa May 1944 by Rock-Ola Manufacturing Corporation,chambered in .30 Carbine,18"" round barrel marked “ROCK-OLA." The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. The carbine remains in very good overall condition, retaining its push-button safety along with a late-war Type III stamped adjustable rear sight. The low wood stock shows minimal handling impressions, with a faint ordnance cartouche and “RMC" marking still visible on the left side. The sling well is unmarked. Rock-Ola, best known for producing jukeboxes before WWII, was among the rarer prime contractors of M1 Carbines, making their rifles especially desirable among collectors today. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
