Description:
Serial #333272, .32-40 WCF, 26 inch octagon take down barrel with a bright, very fine bore with strong rifling and a few scratches running the length of the bore. This is a Winchester Model 1894 take down rifle manufactured in 1907. The barrel and mag tube show about 80-85% of the original blue with a half dollar size patch on the left side with finish loss and pitting having scattered freckling overall. The frame shows perhaps 40-45% original blue with the balance toning from gray to brown. The walnut stock and forearm are both solid with some light contusions and handling marks. It is sighted with a buckhorn rear and no. 21 sporting front sights. The action functions properly with a tight lock up. A great looking early 1894 rifle in a great caliber. FFL or C&R
