Description: General Specs: Smith & Wesson, 1980, .357 Magnum, 36oz. 4" Serial Number: 73K0350 The Smith & Wesson .357 Combat Magnum, a no-nonsense well-balanced revolver built on the square butt K frame. This example, serial number 73K0350, manufactured in 1980, is a Pennsylvania State Police 75th Anniversary model, featuring state police themed engraving on the right side of the frame and barrel, and comes with a wooden display box. These revolvers commemorate the oldest uniform police force in the United States with only 3000 having been produced, with this one numbered 1376. This revolver has a 4” pinned barrel with a mirror bore and a shrouded ejector. It retains 99% finish on all parts and the hammer and trigger are case colored. Furthermore, it appears unfired apart from the factory test fire. The cylinder has counterbored chambers with a light drag line and some holster wear on the cylinder. The top strap and backstrap has ten grooves, a serrated ramped front sight and a micrometer click adjustable combat rear sight. Chambered for the potent .357 magnum and .38 special rounds it is eminently suitable for just about any task.
