A Remington 1903 rifle with a 22.5" barrel is a Sporterized version of the original military rifle. Standard military-issue Remington M1903 and M1903A3 rifles were manufactured with 24-inch barrels. The 22.5" length is a common target for "brush guns" or lightweight hunting rifles where the original 24" barrel was cut down and re-crowned. None
