This pre-owned SIG Sauer 556 series rifle is in very good condition, offering a rare opportunity to own a high-quality Swiss-inspired, American-made hybrid that blends the reliability of an AK-47 style long-stroke gas piston system with the modularity and ergonomics of an AR-15 platform . Chambered in 5.56 NATO, this rifle features a 16-inch barrel known for exceptional accuracy, a side-folding stock for compact storage, and a robust aluminum receiver that accepts standard STANAG/AR-15 magazines. The rifle operates cleaner than traditional direct-impingement systems due to its piston design, ensuring reliable performance, and is known for having very low recoil. This specimen exhibits minimal wear and comes securely packaged in a protective hard case, making it an excellent choice for shooters looking for a durable, versatile, and no-longer-in-production battle rifle. 1 of 2000 produced and marked as such. The receiver is stamped "One of Two Thousand." This example comes with the original hard case and one magazine. Finish is good with the rifle showing normal wear.
